Youth

Life is tough at times, but God is stronger than any trial we face. The goal of our student ministry is to share life with our students. As Jesus shared His life with His disciples on a daily basis, our goal is to create a support system for students as they encounter life. Students face many trials through this age, and our desire is to work side-by-side with them in discovering who Jesus is and what His desire is for their lives. John 10:10 states that “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” True and fulfilling life can only be obtained through Jesus Christ.

Our Sunday School classes meet on the third floor of the main church building. We start out each Sunday morning in a large group with refreshments and announcements. After that, we break up into our small groups. We use relevant studies based on Scripture. God has truly blessed us with amazing teachers who love Christ and love students.

We also meet every Wednesday night from 6:45-8:15 pm. We start with worship which leads into Bible study to dig deeper into God’s Word. For Bible Study, we use large group and small group settings. We select relevant Bible studies that cover topics to help students grow in their faith and that cover issues they face every day. We then have a time of refreshments and recreation to close the night out.

We believe that relationship are key in ministry. We look for ways to grow our relationships inside and outside the church building. To that end, we plan various trips and activities throughout the year. Some are just for fun and others are more ministry focused.
