Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
We will be collecting funds for this offering to benefit North American Missions throughout the month of April. You can give online at this link. Our goal for the year is $6,000.
Child Dedication
We will have a Child Dedication ceremony during the morning service on Mother’s Day (May 11). This is open to babies and children up to age 5. If you would like to participate please sign up at this link.
JOY Group Trip
The JOY Group will take a trip to Virginia on May 15. We will leave at 9:30 am, stop at Fancy Gap Dress Shop and the Pottery Shop. We will then go to Pizza Perfect in Hillsville for lunch. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board.
Graduate Recognition
If you are graduating high school or college and would like to be recognized at the service on May 25, please fill out a graduate form and turn it in to Shane. You can download a copy here, or come by the church office for a printed copy.
Elkin Elementary Backpack for Kids
The church will be donating individualized packaged food to support Elkin Elementary Backpack for Kids throughout the school year. We are asking for donations of any non-perishable food item. If you would like to make a monetary donation, please designate “Backpack for Kids.”
Save the Date – VBS 2025
VBS 2025 will be July 6-10 (6:00-8:30 pm). Please see Julie Reed if you are willing to serve in this important ministry.
KidsQuest (K-6th grade)
~Children’s choir meets at 5:30 pm on the first and third Sundays.
~Good News Club Fundraiser at the Stone Center in North Wilkesboro – April 29 @ 6:30 pm (catered by Mazzini’s Restaurant)
~The Children’s Department will be participating in the Walk for Life hosted by Lifeline Pregnancy Center on Friday, May 2. Please meet at the main picnic shelter (by the large playground) at 5:30 pm where we will enjoy hot dogs and hamburgers before the walk. The event will conclude by 7:30 pm.
