THE POWER OF A SIMPLE GIFT - OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD 2008
Last year we
prepared and delivered 238 shoe box gifts to the Boone Processing
Center—140 of those were from the Daycare, 98 from the church. This
year prayerfully consider being involved in this ministry, and
especially from the church, let’s top that number. Let’s fill those
200 boxes provided by OCC plus any other standard size shoe box or
small plastic container will work. Remember, it’s not just a simple
gift but a way to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with precious
children around the world. Boxes and brochures with instructions for
filling the boxes are located in front of the nursery. Bring your
boxes to the church on or before

Processing Center Saturday, November 29 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Volunteers inspect each
box and prepare them for shipment. A sign-up sheet will be posted
Sunday, November 2. We are limited to 25 and all volunteers must be
at least 13 years of age.
